School started in the year 1991 with the strength of 87 students, current strength is around 614 students (boys-283, Girls-331).
SSLC 2015-16- Pass percentage: 69.94% (Total appeared- 173, pass-121). Highest score: 89.6%
Infrastructure: ELCIA Trust is constructing 2 classrooms over the existing building to facilitate the extra classes required for the school. Construction is under progress, expected to handover by June end.
Mid-Day Meals: is being supplied by ELCIA Trust through Akshaya Patra.
Personal Safety Sessions: Project is to empower one lakh children, their families & caregivers including teachers and non-teaching staff to recognize, resist and report perpetrators of sexual abuse through life-skills and personal safety education. M/s. Enfold Proactive Health Trust was engaged to conduct the sessions.
Civic Awareness: Civic responsibility refers to “active participation in the public life of a community in an informed, committed, and constructive manner, with a focus on the common good”. Children Movement for Civic Awareness is engaged for this project to kindle and nurture, to inculcate democratic values in children.
Sexuality Education: Due to rise in sexual abuse & lack of menstrual hygiene care issues in the schools, sexuality education was given to girl students through Mythri Speaks organization.
Educational Trips: Every year SSLC students are being taken to Mahatma Gandhi Institute of rural energy & development (MGIRED), Jakkur.
Around 500 students were taken to PVR, Koramangala to watch Hawa Hawaii movie.
Science Exhibition: ELCIA Trust and HP conducted science exhibition in the school in association with Agasthya Foundation.
Science and Math exhibition was organized at school, to encourage and appreciate students, books related to science were given to all the participants
Magic show & skit: To promote celebration of eco-friendly festivals, magic show & skit was organized
Achievements: So far several students have participated in District level Science exhibition, drama and sports. One student had participated in state level science exhibition and exhibited 4 types of rockets prepared on his own.
