"A Model Government school providing education to around 350 students every year."

History

Current strength is around 233 students (boys-153, Girls-180).

Projects

Infrastructure: ELCIA Trust constructed school building comprising of 6 classroom, HM room, toilets and compound wall in the year 2008. Regular upkeep of building by painting, other minor civil works required. Donation of student furniture for Nali-kali classrooms 1st to 3rd standard.

Mid-day meals: is being supplied by ELCIA Trust through Akshaya Patra.

Water Supply: ELCIA Trust is supplying water to school since 2008.

Library in Classroom: ELCIA Trust introduced a unique concept of “Library in a Classroom” providing access to books to children to strengthen their reading proficiency, the books and kits are provided by Pratham Books.

Civic Awareness: Civic responsibility refers to “active participation in the public life of a community in an informed, committed, and constructive manner, with a focus on the common good”. Children Movement for Civic Awareness is engaged for this project to kindle and nurture, to inculcate democratic values in children.

Summer camp: To develop a fun curriculum that takes advantage of all that the summer holidays, we started conducting summer camp in 2012 with the help of volunteers from Infosys, HP & DBOI. This included yoga, dance, self-defence, craft, music and a whole lot more

Learn through Computers: Learning made more interesting by teaching through computers & upkeep, regular maintenance, the facilitators salaries are borne by ELCIA Trust.

Kite festival: Kite festival was organized in NTTF grounds for all students, students were taught to make kites on their own.

Inter-school Painting Competition: Inter-school painting competition was organized for 5th, 6th & 7th class Students from Doddathogur, Vittasandra and Bettadasapura School at Bettadasapura School on 24th February. Around 200 Students participated in the event.

Educational Trips: Around 200 students were taken to PVR, Koramangala to watch Hawa Hawaii movie.
